Mitchell is the Founding Partner at Lead Edge Capital. Prior to founding Lead Edge, Mitchell was on the investment teams at Eastern Advisors and Bessemer Venture Partners. He also previously worked at UBS Investment Bank. Mitchell received his B.A. in Economics from Williams College and an M.B.A in Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mitchell is formerly a nationally ranked alpine ski racer.
Nimay is a Partner at Lead Edge Capital. Prior to Lead Edge, Nimay was on the investment teams at Eastern Advisors, Insight Venture Partners and General Catalyst Partners, where he invested in growth-stage technology companies. Nimay received his A.B. in Economics from Harvard College.
Brian is a Partner at Lead Edge Capital. Prior to Lead Edge, Brian was a member of the investment teams at FTV Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners, where he concentrated in the software, business services and internet sectors. Brian received his B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Jim is an Operating Partner at Lead Edge Capital. He was formerly the CFO of Dell. Jim was a long time board member of Gap and Lockheed Martin. Jim currently serves as the Chairman of Horizon Bank and as a board member of GCI and Zilliant. He is actively involved with the expansion of subsidiary banks in Central Texas with the focus on small to middle market business.
Lorrie is an Operating Partner at Lead Edge Capital. Before joining Lead Edge, Lorrie was President of eBay Marketplaces. Lorrie was also an officer at Intuit, leading Quicken and QuickBooks and later becoming an Executive Vice President in the Office of the CEO. She currently serves on the board of DIRECTV, Autodesk and TaskRabbit. She previously served on the boards of Shopping.com, McAfee, and Lucasfilm. Lorrie has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Paul is an Operating Partner at Lead Edge Capital. Paul served as a senior operating executive at Dell from 1996 to 2012, where he developed and deployed business unit strategies that helped the company grow from $7 billion to $60 billion. He was most recently President of the global Public Sector and Large Enterprise organization, which accounted for half the company’s revenue. Earlier in his career he led the Consumer and Small Business sector.
Tim is an Associate at Lead Edge Capital. Prior to joining Lead Edge, Tim worked as an investment banker at Sandler O’Neill + Partners and in commercial real estate at CBRE. Tim received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame, where he played lacrosse.
Avery is an Associate at Lead Edge Capital. Prior to joining, Avery worked as an Analyst with the BRM Group in Tel Aviv and was involved in the London-based start-up State.com. Avery graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, & Economics (PPE Program).
Nick is an Associate at Lead Edge Capital. Prior to joining, Nick worked as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs on the International Equities desk and in investment banking at Deutsche Bank. Nick received his B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College, where he was co-captain of the squash team.
Scott is a Special Advisor to Lead Edge Capital. Scott is the founder and manager of affiliate Eastern Advisors. With over twenty years of technology investing experience, Scott’s focus is on early-stage venture capital. Prior to Eastern Advisors, Scott was a portfolio manager at Kingdon Capital. He received an MIA from Columbia University’s School of International Affairs and a B.A. in History from Holy Cross College where he was awarded a Watson Fellowship.
Giles is the Chief Operating Officer of Lead Edge Capital. Giles has an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Chris is the Chief Financial Officer of Lead Edge Capital. Chris comes from a tax background specializing in private equity and hedge fund clients, as well as high net-worth individuals. He has also worked at several large fund administrators. Chris has a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Rider University, and a M.B.A. in Accounting from Monmouth University.
Emila is the Assistant COO and manages investor relations at Lead Edge Capital. Emila comes to Lead Edge from Eastern Advisors.
Jerry is Controller at Lead Edge Capital. Jerry has 17 years of experience in fund management operations, and comes to Lead Edge from Eastern Advisors. Prior to Eastern Advisors, Jerry worked in the operations department for Tiger Management. Jerry graduated from Pace University with a BS.
Andrea is the Assistant CFO of Lead Edge Capital. Prior to Lead Edge, Andrea worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young, LLP where she specialized in financial service clients. Andrea earned her MS in Accounting and MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Carter is the Executive Assistant at Lead Edge Capital. Prior to joining, Carter worked as a buyer at One Kings Lane and also received her Master’s in Art Business from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Carter Graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in Art History and Statistics.
Prior to joining Lead Edge, Lisa ran her own luxury event planning company in Manhattan focused on weddings and social events. She previously sat on the Admissions Committee at The Wharton Business School, worked in Investor Relations at Tiedemann Investment Group and started her career as a Registrar at Sotheby's Auction House managing $100M + of artwork. Lisa has a B.A. In Art History from Boston University and originally hails from Durban, South Africa.
